Athari-Rise

"Athari" means "impact" in the local East-African dialect Swahili.  Athari-Rise seeks to leverage, engage and track activities of strategic sectors to build a new model of systemic change.  It uses the newest technological innovations with a focus on blockchain to mitigate climate change.

Arrey Obenson, Co-Founder

 Arrey Obenson is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Transformunity, a consulting firm that harnesses opportunities of corporations and organizations to transform the world. Obenson actively engages actors from all sectors of society – businesses, governments and the civil society—to identify their opportunities and develop strategies to achieve growth. Obenson is a visionary leader and world-class facilitator who has inspired and engaged audiences of 50 to 5,000 in nearly 100 countries.


Prior to founding Transformunity, Obenson served as Secretary General of JCI, a global network of 150,000 young active citizens in more than 100 countries. In this capacity, he led the implementation of the organization’s overall strategy and supervised a team to advance the mission of the organization and empower young people to create positive change. For 17 years, Obenson led the organization at various levels, including Director for Africa and the Middle East, Executive Director and Deputy Secretary General.


Obenson is a barrister of law and member of the Cameroon Bar Association. He holds a Master of Law degree from Washington University in Saint Louis, United States. He lives in St. Louis Missouri with his wife, Victorine, and is gifted with two boys.

Nisaa Jetha, Co-Founder

Nisaa Jetha is a global strategist and impact professional operating in the diplomatic sphere. She is currently an Executive Director at a United Nation's Inter-Governmental Organization,  Be Earth which has 12 binding international treatises with governments. 


Among multiple campaigns, Nisaa launched an energy governance group in the UK Parliament hosted by the Under-Secretary of State for International Development.  The work prompted her selection alongside 150 world leaders to attend the inauguration of the UN-backed Sustainable Development Goals. 


Instrumental in curating a focus event on climate change at COP21 and speaking in the UK Parliament on increasing female representation in politics and international governance, Nisaa was also selected by the United Nations’ UN Women group to curate one of the 92Y Genius Panels in conjunction with MSNBC on Google Campus and to represent the UK at the UN.  Nisaa moderated at the British Awards for African Development and was nominated by the United State of Women Summit hosted by The White House.

Christie Albrecht, Co-Founder

Christie Albrecht is a high level negotiator having worked with various government, spoken in parliament and been represented in Pan African Parliament. 10+ years of management and executive experience leading multilateral and multisectoral partnerships  and collaborations for a global organization, including the United Nations, associated agencies and the International Chamber of Commerce; Strategy implementation, organizational design and project supervision. 


Holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis. UN Foundation, ICC, UN Strategy Hub (20 hand picked organization for implementing the SDGs where Christie lead the youth leader which included 13 organization with over 107 cities and collective reach of over 100 million), main partnership lead for JCI global for a period of five years. Instrumental for implementing the Kofi Annan Foundation strategic partnership.   Strategy implementation in how many countries and what initiatives (restructure of the head quarters, organization design and supervision of XX and explain reporting globally and to board level and how many people worked below you)  African Development Bank, high level discussions with UN SDG Action Campaign, Global Citizen and UNICEF.
